Atelier Veloso Arquitectos (AVA) is an award-winning architecture and interior design practice based in Porto and Lisbon, Portugal. Although the studio has been active since 1996, it was officially renamed AVA in 2007, in order to combine the creative forces of architects Carlos Jorge C. Veloso and Rui Filipe C. Veloso. Since then, the studio has completed projects ranging from larger-scale social housing apartment buildings and a theatre for the city of Guarda to smaller private residences and apartments.
