Since 2006, Yatzer has been exploring the many ways design shapes our lives. Founded by Greek interior designer Costas Voyatzis, Yatzer celebrates the art of living beautifully, curating soulful interiors, talented creatives, and immersive destinations where atmosphere, authenticity, and artistry converge.

Yatzer’s distinct voice has resonated globally, attracting a discerning readership of high-level professionals, decision-makers, and tastemakers with a shared passion for design and cultural exploration. Our audience consists of design-savvy individuals, frequent travelers, industry leaders, and opinion makers who appreciate quality, ingenuity, and originality. Born in Piraeus in 1980, Costas Voyatzis initially pursued Meteorology at the University of Athens before discovering his true calling in Interior Design, later graduating from a private design college.  He refined his craft while working as a stylist for Greece’s leading design magazines, forging invaluable industry connections and cultivating a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling.

In 2006, he launched Yatzer with a vision of creating a high quality source of design insight. What started as a personal blog—its name a playful nod to his surname (Vo-Yatzer)—soon evolved into an acclaimed online destination, earning Costas, just four years later, a spot among Architectural Digest’s 100 most influential people in the design industry. Since then, Yatzer has continued to explore the many ways design shapes our lives, curating soulful interiors, visionary creatives, and immersive destinations where atmosphere, authenticity, and artistry converge.

In 2019, driven by his creative vision and expertise in communication, he founded Yatzerlab, an Athens-based studio specializing in design-driven marketing, branding, and hospitality consulting across both digital and analogue platforms.

Costas has further honed his experience as the Curator of the Shop at the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens and as a jury member of various prestigious industry awards, while participating in numerous creative projects and collaborations on a global scale.

Architect by training, writer by inclination, humorist by nature, Eric has been juggling multiple disciplines for as long as he can remember. Born and raised in Athens, Greece, he moved to London at 18—ostensibly to study architecture, but mostly to immerse himself in the Anglo-Saxon way of life. A decade, two Master’s degrees, and several professional ventures later, he found himself back in pre-crisis Athens, working as a lighting architect.

Today, Eric balances his architectural expertise with a passion for writing and cultural commentary. A firm believer in exceptional craftsmanship—whether in architecture, art, or design—Eric has been uncovering hidden creative gems and exploring contemporary culture as Managing Editor of Yatzer since 2016. With an insatiable curiosity and a passion for storytelling, he has found in Yatzer the perfect platform to celebrate artistry and innovation.
