Paris-based design studio CUT Architectures designed the third location of burger restaurant Paris New York (PNY) in Paris’ Le Marais, inspired by the fluorescent city lights and breezy beaches of Miami. Surreal and over-the-top, playful and fun, the new PNY blends together the architectural vocabulary of typical American diner booths with that of colourful beach huts: large tubular booth-like constructions merge the seating with the tables, a design principle also used in the metal staircase which features a white mesh and integrated neon lights.
