Hand-painted finishes by local artisans and luxurious soft furnishings harmoniously complement the former bank’s austere sensibility while a muted palette of earthy hues and convivial pastels imbue the spaces with a soothing ambience.

Borrack has drawn inspiration from the Art Deco architecture style that was prevalent in Australia during the 1920s and 1930s when the building originates from, developing a geometric language of circular forms. Curvaceous leather and velvet banquettes with fluted backrests, round tables with marble tops, cylindrical bolster pillows, and spherical lamps introduce a sense of playful elegance in the cool down lounge, dining and bar area, and rooftop sundeck, while forest green and white checkerboard tiling in the outdoor pool terrace make for a graphic focal point.
