The hotel’s expansive communal areas on the ground floor, which include the lobby and lounge as well as two independent eateries and several outdoor spaces, unfold as a series of unique spaces that smoothly flow into each other encouraging exploration, while private pockets of space promote intimacy. PURO has a history of collaborating with local talents, a fact that becomes apparent the moment guests step inside: as they check in they are greeted by a futurist graffiti mural behind the reception counter, a bespoke work created by Kraków native street artist Nawer. Further on, guests are treated to two of Warsaw-based Mateusz Szczypinski’s modernist city-scape collages, an iconic neon installation by Spanish multidisciplinary artist Javier Martin, and a series of graphical artworks by five Polish illustrators who were commissioned especially to create pieces inspired by their emotional reflections on Kazimierz.
