Weighing in at 9 tons and measuring 12 meters, the Mazu 42 Walk-around, which debuted in a stark dark grey at the Monaco Yacht Show last year, has a hand laid carbon hull that combines lightness with strength, along with powerful twin Volvo engines that can reach speeds of 36 or 45 knots, depending on the engine model. Featuring, as its name suggests, lateral walk-arounds that make the entire perimeter of the deck accessible, and a hardtop over the driver’s futuristic looking console, the Mazu 42 Walk-around has a sporty look and an aggressive attitude.

The exterior and interior areas are thoughtfully designed with both comfort and elegance in mind. At the front, a dining-cum-lounge area, designed as a V-shape settee tracing the boat’s bow and fully equipped with Gaggenau appliances, such as a cooker, grill and oven, provides the perfect setting to enjoy a mid-day lunch or late-afternoon drinks. Other exterior amenities include a sun bathing area near the stern, a deck shower and a swim platform.
Constructed with the same attention to detail as the deck above, the interiors, providing sleeping accommodations for four passengers in two king size beds, en-suite bathrooms with a separate full standing shower, a second galley and an additional crew cabin, are a triumph of modern elegance and ergonomic sleekness.

Similar in length, capacity and speed, the Mazu 38 Open was introduced in silver grey at the at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show and pearl white at boot Düsseldorf in January of this year. Although hull colours are customizable, courtesy of a new innovative painting booth at the company’s facilities, as are all the deck and interior fabrics and finishes, it’s hard to imagine someone not choosing the pearl white option—the first and only boat Mazu Yachts has built to date in white, a colour that not only is easier to clean but also stands for “elegance and purity” as Yukay explains.
In this design, the captain's cockpit is open with the option of canvas top, the sun bathing area has been moved to the front of the boat allowing great views as the boat rides the waves, whereas the aft deck has been reserved for an open plan, “al-fresco” dining space. Inside, mirrors enhance the sense of space and concealed mood lighting creates a sophisticated ambiance. All the exterior and interior amenities found in the Mazu 42 Walk-around, including four berths and two galleys, are also featured in this model, conceived, designed and crafted with the same meticulousness, precision and finesse, all hallmarks of Mazu Yachts' design ethos.
