Born in Greece in 1985, based in London and a citizen of the world at heart, Demetrios Gkiouzelis is an architect and interior designer. A dreamer, a collector of ideas, an ardent devotee of all things creative, Demetrios is utterly committed to architecture and design, as well as the visual arts, performance, film and music video imagery, fashion and photography. Having lived in Italy, Greece and now the UK, he is in constant pursuit of a new place to call home, as he feels that the confined borders of a single country do not suffice to contain the spirit of the modern-era designer.Demetrios started off as a student of a BA English Language and Literature, where he wrote papers analysing English and American literature, poetry and drama and their relation to art. However, it was his passion for design that made him switch to a BA (Hons) in Architecture from Oxford Brookes University and then move on to an MA in Interior Design and finally an M.Arch in Architecture (RIBA II) from the University of Westminster in London. He has worked as an interior designer and architectural assistant and more recently as a freelance graphic designer. However, he has always had the desire to become an advocate of creativity by being part of a team that fervently promotes art and design. He is hooked on Yatzer and he considers it the perfect blend of sophistication and fun.
