The store is characterised by the use of the Maison’s signature materials and colour palettes, like the Aniègre wood and caramel teak which create a warm and welcoming atmosphere whilst providing a subtle background for the exceptional artworks from local artists, including stunning wire drawings and sculptures by Israeli artist Yehuda Gedaliahu. Utterly captivating on the senses, the entire atmosphere culminates in the signature smell of leather. That same aroma has, and continues to pervade all of the Maison’s official boutiques the world over,  ever since 1854 when mister Louis Vuitton opened his very first store in Paris, France.  Since then, up until today, his ‘Art Of Travel’ principles have successfully been carried on by his descendants.

In order to pay tribute to Louis Vuitton's constant reinvention of the ‘Art Of Travel’, a ''Wardrobe en Toile Monogram'' handcrafted in 1912, one of the Maison's most iconic products, has been prominently placed in the entrance of the new store. Although nowdays you’re more likely to spot one of these wardrobes transformed into the most stylish of coffee tables, they can’t help but remind us of a bygone era of travel with their seemingly infinite variety of interior arrangements, sizes and finishes. Asides from this visual memorabilia of LV trunks, the new store features all the novelties from the Maison including our favourite; the new 4-wheel Zéphyr travel case.

Although my trip to the "Miami of the Middle East" lasted a mere 24 hours, Louis Vuitton not only took me on a luxurious journey inside the new store, but also on a delicious, culinary adventure inside the famous Raphaël's private dining room located in the David Tower on Tel-Aviv’s Hayarkon Street, where I discovered the inspired menu of one of Israel’s top chefs, Raffi Cohen. And that’s when I realized: that consistent attention to the smallest of details is the key-factor not only for a prestigious fashion brand but also for a meal quite like no other! Now that's what I call the Art Of Detail!
