Polish architect, Robert Konieczny, studied at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland before receiving the architecture certificate from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Apart from establishing the architecture practice, KWK Promes, in 1999, Robert is also the recipient of many architecture design related awards and nominations such as World Architecture News' "House of the Year Award" for his design of the Aatrial House in 2006, as well as being listed in Wallpaper magazine's lineup of the "101 Most Exciting Architecture Studios Worldwide."
In 2012, the Mies van der Rohe Foundation named Robert as one of their "independent experts." His works are frequently featured in international magazine and publications; such as "The Phaidon Atlas of Contemporary Architecture" and various Taschen publications. KWK Promes is currently working on the National Museum of Szczecin, Poland among many other soon-to-be-admired projects.
