Ico Migliore and Mara Servetto create projects on various scales from architecture to urban design and from exhibition to communication, where places are interpreted as active interfaces, tools of elective communication between companies / institutions and the public. They have been awarded with the ADI Compasso d’Oro 2008 and 2014, four ADI Honorable Mentions, the German Design Award (Ger), two FX Interior Design Awards (UK), six Red Dot Awards (Ger), the Annual Exhibit Design Award (Usa) and the International Design Award (USA).On May 2014 they won, with Italo Lupi, the competition for the permanent exhibition of the new Museum for Compasso D’oro Adi Collection in Milan in the spaces of the ancient Enel electric plant.They are both teachers at the Politecnico di Milano where, until 1993, they worked alongside Achille Castiglioni. Both of them are visiting professors in Japan.Founded in Milan in 1997, their studio Migliore+Servetto Architects has offices in Warsaw, Seoul and Tokyo.
