Design studio Graypants was founded in 2007 in Seattle, Washington, by architects Seth Grizzle and Jonathan Junker. Graypants specializes in "scraplights," light fixtures made entirely of repurposed corrugated cardboard. The firm prides itself on its environmental use of discarded materials and sleek, aesthetic designs. In 2012, an Amsterdam branch was founded to serve the group's European clients; today, Graypants sells to clients in over 40 countries throughout the world. In November 2013, Grizzle and Junker were awarded AIA Seattle’s Award of Honor for their debut architectural project, "Garage."
