Giuseppe and Maurizio Alito

Brothers, Giuseppe and Maurizio Alito hail from Taormina, Sicily. Older brother, Giuseppe, studied industrial design and Design Management at Scuola Politecnica Di Design in Milan from where he graduated with a Masters in 1998 and is currently based in Milan. Meanwhile, Maurizio studied architecture in Palermo, Italy from where he graduated in 2004 and is currently based in Athens.

Although they have both completed a wide range of impressive projects on their own, (Giuseppe’s CV even includes being Project Manager of the design and engineering of the telemetric tracking stations for Scuderia Ferrari during the F1 Championships of 2002, 2003 and 2004 and he is currently the R&D Manager of Gio’Style) the brothers have also joined collaborative forces on a number of projects in Italy and Greece. This includes both private residences—such as stunning homes on the Greek islands of Sifnos, Kimolos and Milos—as well as public projects including Zampano Greek Bistro & Wine Bar, Divino Wine Case, and a passion project of their own: Montalbano, an evocative Sicilian-inspired restaurant and café in the heart of Athens’ city center, just off Constitution Square.
