Born in Portland, Oregon, during the Technicolor seventies, Eleni started making up stories in her mother’s walk-in closet, the only place she would keep quiet. After spending all her pocket money in magazines and getting her degree in Political Science from the University of Athens, she started trying out different careers: photographer, waitress, clubber. One promise she made to herself was to never limit her brain in the four walls of an office, a promise she broke over and over again, by writing for almost all Greek magazines, from Nitro and Status to Madame Figaro and Marie Claire, where, until recently, she was the Editor in Chief. Her mother still hopes there is a good book in her but she would probably never dare sit next to her literary love, J. D. Salinger. She loves being a part of Yatzer, because she feels this is the perfect hive for anything out there that reaches the top of the aesthetics scale.
