The travel journalist that also goes by the pen name Marie Le Fort, specializes in contemporary destinations with unique accommodations for a sophisticated audience. After graduating in Prospective Strategies from one of Paris’ leading Business Schools, ESCP-EAP, in her early twenties, Le Fort began her career working 2 shifts at the editorial desk of Conde Nast’s Sport & Style and Vogue Homme International. She rapidly grew into a freelance journalist and lifestyle editor for magazines such as AD, Numéro, Wallpaper*, American Departures and Air France Madame. Le Fort spends most of her time travelling between South America, Austria, India, Japan, Zimbabwe, and then on to any one of the globe’s next promising locations, tracking trends and new ventures. She is also an architecture and design critic, author of a handful of Louis Vuitton City Guides since 2007, and consultant for Parisian Maisons such as Hermès (for which she writes architectural press releases for new boutique openings) and Elie Saab. She is also the co-curator of New York based master-craftsmen gallery Atelier Courbet for which she handpicks talents, objects and designers.
