Ester Bruzkus Architekten, founded by Ester Bruzkus in 2002 and joined by partner Peter Greenberg in 2016, is a Berlin-based architectural practice celebrated for its award-winning projects that blend vibrant color combinations, logical planning, and striking contrasts of opulence and minimalism. Their portfolio spans interior design across various scales, including furniture, restaurants, hotels, private residences, workplaces, and exhibitions. Raised in Berlin, Bruzkus studied architecture at TU Berlin and the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville, while Greenberg, from New York City, studied at Yale University and Harvard Graduate School of Design. Their collaboration began at the Berlin studio of the Wentworth Institute of Technology. The practice is characterized by its commitment to precise planning, material contrasts, and a playful yet well-resolved approach, drawing inspiration from a wide range of sources—films, art, nature, and more—to create spaces that are both surprising and thoughtfully designed.
