Architecture and interior design studio founded by Venezuela-born, Bali-based Maximilian Jencquel in 2011 in pursuirt of his passion for vernacular architecture and tropical landscapes. With studies in the USA and France, Jencquel's practice focuses on craftsmanship, working closely with local craftspeople and artisans throughout the design process. Mostly focusing on residential projects, the Studio is guided by the principles of slow design with a focus on sustainability, aiming to strike a balance between the physical and social aspects of each project. The Studio also designs bespoke furniture pieces that subtly blend the traditional with the modern.
