Emily Forgot is the moniker of multidisciplinary artist, Emily Alston, a name which she playfully says she chose because, "Forgetfulness is a trait of mine! I had to come up with a website domain name back in 2004 when I graduated and it seemed to fit the bill then since I wasn’t keen on using my surname, Alston. But now, my obsession with list making seems to combat my forgetful nature and I can often surprise myself with my own efficiency!"

She graduated from Liverpool School of Art & Design in 2004 and is based in London. Emily "embraces the odd, the everyday and sometimes the surreal" in her work but always with a playful eye and an optimistic visual language which never fails to innovate and delight.

Her work ranges from illustration to retail display, and print design to visual identity and her long-list of international clients include Vertu, Selfridges & co, Hophaus and Herman Miller among many others. Her unique enthusiasm and eye for detail has been featured in various publications such as Creative Review, Vogue, iD and Frame magazine.
