Maria Filopoulou is a Greek painter born in 1964 in Athens. She studied painting at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts under the tutelage of Leonardo Cremonini, from 1984-1988. She then did a Master's at the same school on lithography with Abraham Hadad.
