Christina Seilern was the founding director of Rafael Viñoly Architects (RVA) in London and worked for the firm for over 10 years before establishing Studio Seilern Architects in 2005. Luis Feliciano Monteiro joined SSA as Design Director in 2010 after working for award-winning company, Barbosa & Guimaraes and his own practice for a number of years.

Studio Seilern focuses on three building typologies: residential, commercial offices and educational projects worldwide such as the Knightsbridge School International, in Geneva and Lausanne, Switzerland, Turkey, Bogota, Columbia and London.

Sforza Seilern Architects is the collaboration between London-based architect Muzia Sforza and Studio Seilern Architects, the architecture practice established by Christina Seilern in 2005 and which now also includes Luis Feliciano Monteiro who joined the firm in 2010. Their first completed project, Gota House in Zimbabwe’s Forester Estate is a dramatic and impressive cliff-side, granite and glass structure that has won a number of awards including the Blueprint Award for Best Non-public Project 2014, the RIBA International Award 2013, and the WAN 2012 House of the Year Award.
