Studio Makkink & Bey is led by architect Rianne Makkink and designer Jurgen Bey. It's based out of Rotterdam. The studio works in various domains of applied art, including public space projects, product design, architecture, exhibition design and applied arts. Supported by a design team, they have been operating since 2002. In 2009, Studio Makkink & Bey was a runner-up for the Rotterdam Design Prize.
