Robert Majkut is a talented designer from Poland that seeks inspiration in his dreams. Some time ago he saw a dream where a grand piano appeared that didn’t seem like anything else he had seen before. For weeks he was chasing the picture trapped in his mind, trying to recall the exact shape of the piano. One day his mind unlocked and Whaletone was born. Whaletone is a bespoke piano that looks like a whale emerging from the water and with its sleek curves and excellent sound is ready to conquer us all.
The heart of the instrument, as Robert explains, is one of the greatest stage pianos, with a Super Natural Piano technology. Ensuring the highest quality of the classic grand piano sound, it is enriched with crucial elements for professional musicians. It is equipped with a comfortable keyboard, perfectly transmitting the dynamism of sounds, and an Ivory Feel surface, closely imitating the real ivory and ebony keys. The sound is strengthened with a four-channel amplifier and is emitted from the loudspeakers, creating a precise, dynamic sound scene. Because of its form and possibilities, Whaletone perfectly fits in a professional stage as well as in a private room, in a club, hotel or on a yacht.
Whaletone, as Robert Majkut points out, contains a flagship model of Roland stage piano with a built-in list of 500 sounds. Most of all, it is an instrument generating an incredibly authentic sound of a string piano thanks to the Super Natural Piano technology with three sound types: Concert, Studio, and Brilliant, offering 30 variations at choice. Besides the phenomenal and natural sound of a classic grand piano, Whaletone offers programmed tones of vintage models from the 1960s and 1980s, different sounds variations and the possibility of creating new sounds. All is controlled by the comfortable PHA III Ivory Feel keyboard with escapement that imitates, with all the subtleties and sound effects, the real hammering of the classic grand piano keyboard. The Sound Focus function enables strengthening the expression and audibility of even subtle pianissimo passages. Additional options include V piano card upgrades, software adding sound modules, CD player, LED display, internal sound processor with equalizer and other individually chosen appliances.
Last but not least, Whaletone offers a great variety of customizing possibilities including colors, gloss, material selection, individual adornments and the possibility of equipment configuration. Apart from the snow-white and classic black colors, Whaletone comes in lively pink, orange, or violet as well as blue, creamy or chocolate-gray hues. No excuses left then for all the music lovers out there that is about time they experienced the real sound of the whale!
