The House Hotel, Nisantasi is named after the district in which it stands. Known for its high-end shopping, entertainment, fashion, and general central location (just a few minutes away from the Bosphorous and most historical sites), the Nisantasi is where it’s all happening.
In the midst of the electric buzz of the neighborhood, and with the Prada boutique as its ground floor shop, the House Hotel, Nisantasi is a vision of elegance. The Autoban Design Group is responsible for the five floors and forty-five rooms of crisp, clean design. Everything is angular, with a warm and welcoming vibe thanks to the brown tones, dark floors and white accents (the white marble in the bathrooms is breathtaking). The handcrafted end tables and coffee tables in each room are remarkable and like nothing you’ve seen before.
The lobby, restaurant, and lounge share one large yet polished space. The shared space is divided into sections without the use of a single wall; it is a smart design approach. Thanks to the Autoban aesthetics, the lounge becomes a comfortable “nook” in a bay window with hip white book cases on either side of two curved white leather couches that face one another and sit atop a textured white rug. The scene begs for a guest to sit there with a tea and a book. Restaurant seating is on either side of the lounge. This too, is crisp and modern, warm and cozy all at the same time. Over at the check-in desk two caged chairs offer a striking welcome to guests. Upon arrival you know this is no ordinary hotel.
Stay tuned because on April 2011 The House Hotel in Ortakö, Istanbul will open its doors!
