Grace Kelly used to wear hers everyday as a tulpan, because it would protect her razor sharp slicked hair during the ride on her roadster. And once, when she had broken her arm, she had used it as a sling. The silky square object in question was of course an Hermès scarf.
True, no self-respecting French woman would ever travel or even be seen without it. Yet, the art of transforming your looks with the help of a scarf is a tough one. For those out there, still wondering what the best and most stylish ways to wear one are, along comes Hermès, organizing a “How To” event, they should not miss.
Taking place on Saturday the 28th November 2009, from 10.00 until 18.00 in the probably most famous pedestrian walkway of ATHENS//Greece and a few meters away from the Athenian Hermès Boutique at Voukourestiou Str. 1, the event is dedicated to scarves and ties, and is therefore well suited for both men and women.
There will be more than a few Hermès stylists ready to show you how to wrap, bend and use them correctly and stylishly and even more photographers, who will first shoot and afterwards give you what is called “Petit Journal de La soie”.
