France-born, Mexico-based architect Ludwig Godefroy established his eponymous studio in 2011 after working for established practices such as Leeser Architecture in New York, Enric Miralles/Benedetta Tagliabue in Barcelona, OMA/Rem Koolhaas in Rotterdam and Tatiana Bilbao in Mexico City. His work is guided by authenticity and simplicity and expressed through a brutalist architecture language that celebrates the materiality and the textures of raw materials, such as concrete, steel, clay and wood.
