Born and raised in Santander, Spain, artist Bubi Canal (b.1980) has created a fantastical universe inhabited by a whole host of imaginary characters. Using colourful plastic toys as his prime matter, Canal creates sculptures and costumes that are then often used in his photography and short videos. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn.
