Who doesn't dream of living in an amazing loft conversion in Manhattan? Tribeca Loft is the epitome of that dream; it is the Manhattan Loft Conversion, the place that you imagine when you close your eyes and picture the perfect urban NY living space. It offers design as slick as the neighbourhood it resides over and as stimulating as that first morning coffee. Just picture making that coffee in the Tribeca Loft’s stunning industrial steel kitchen, then strolling across the open space flooded by light, stopping to recline and take in the view both outside and inside, it’s just too much right?!

Spanning 550sqm, this 3.6m high space has been transformed, by Fearon Hay Architects, into a home that embraces the impressive structure of the building and maximises on this immense space. From the very first moment you encounter this loft you’re struck with a vision of urban sophistication and can’t help but find yourself imagining what it would be like to live in an apartment that offers so many possibilities. The white coated solid space has been ingeniously divided, whilst ensuring minimal interference with the structure of the building, into areas that serve for sleeping, eating, bathing, entertaining and so much more; because in living in the Tribeca Loft, the possibilities are endless because of the thoughtful transitional design. There is an abundance of light and a sense of freedom throughout because the design flows so naturally and offers a lifestyle that can only be described as the highest level of luxury in the most subtle and chic way possible. Light floods the space from the floor to ceiling spanning windows that frame the incredible Manhattan skyline outside. Inside, the light adds to the calm, highlighting the sense of space that's been enhanced by a neutral white palette and majestic polished floor, where both act as a backdrop on which to showcase new design elements alongside original industrial features. These original features include exposed pipes and the strong columns; reminders of what a special building and location this is to live in.

The interior design by Penny Hay Ltd. introduces a new level of style and sophistication, more than fitting for this loft's amazing location. Collaborations with artisans from both New Zealand and New York have resulted in the creation of some striking custom features including bespoke glass pendant lights and steel framed freestanding wash basins and a bath that add another level of quality and an edge of urban opulence to the super stylish design. The design is elegant due to its subtlety and lack of ostentation and is pared back with exposed light fittings and top quality materials. Natural fabrics have been used for draping curtains that function to offer the option of dividing the main living space, creating a sense of warmth and cosiness in what is after all, a huge space. The fabric used is light and allows a glow of light to seep through as a reminder of how the space interconnects and the overall aura of the loft to remain tangible. The different elevated platforms and clever divides make this space fun, customisable and highly functional. The more time you spend looking at and enjoying this loft, the more you realise that this is definitely not your average home.
