LINEA PIU is a many-splendored fashion destination. Having established an exclusive collaboration with timelessly elegant Chanel, it holds an undeniable mystique for the chic set. Established in 1986 by Angelica Kasnakides, it was only a matter of time before LINEA PIU became a tight-knit family affair. Her brother, Yannis Kasnakides, has played an integral part in the boutique’s continued success while daughter Karolina is already knee-deep in the fashion industry. After introducing fashion savants to Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano in the late 80s, LINEA PIU broke new ground with Chanel in the 90s, branched out with an exclusive Dior boutique in the 00s before opening a second LINEA PIU location on the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos in 2012.
The flagship store in Kolonaki equally divides its attention between clothes and accessories, carrying a flawlessly curated selection of Chanel, Tom Ford, Blumarine and Ermanno Scervino, while the Mykonos outpost relies heavily on accessories, with an eye on beach-appropriate outfits and swimwear for the near future. Both boutiques offer an array of personalized services to VIP clients that range from personal consultations to private off-site showings, although you don’t want to miss your opportunity to get to know the mother-daughter duo that preside over the Kolonaki headquarters.
Their open-plan office in the middle of the shop floor (top level) is, in effect, an unspoken invitation to customers to stop by for a chat, while their equally stylish but markedly different approach to everyday dressing is bound to give you ideas! No matter which of the two grabs your attention, they both stay true to the same mission: to prove that high-end fashion has nothing to do with age and everything to do with personal expression.
