Petros Koublis (b.1981 in Serres) is a Greek photographer with a strong personal visual aesthetic and a love for nature. Engaging with photography since 2002, Koublis's work has rapidly developed into a mature and thoughtful approach to visual composition, his images usually accompanied by condensed poetic texts and alluding, evocative titles. His 2014 Vedema series, commissioned by Vedema Resort in Santorini, became widely popular online through blogs and other publications. In 2015 his first book titled 'Inlands' was published by Black Mountain Books. Koublis has participated in several photo exhibitions in Greece, and is being represented by Galleri Tryffelgrisen in Stockholm, Sweden

"My relationship with photography started in 2000, after having dedicated some years in painting. I studied photography in Athens and I participated in a series of seminars on the history of photography, being mostly developing my style through a constant personal exploration. My work has been presented in exhibitions, art & design platforms, publications and magazines all over the world, like the British Journal of Photography, European Photography, Esquire Russia and others." - Petros Koublis
