British furniture manufacturer Vitsœ has invited Tsatsas, one of our favourite leather goods brands, to exhibit its designs at the Vitsœ showroom in Munich, Germany. Feeling that the two brands share a design ethos that focuses on discreet luxury and superior integrity, Vitsœ was more than happy to fill the shelves of its iconic 606 Universal Shelving System, on display at its store in Munich’s Museum Quarter, with signature pieces from the Tsatsas bag collection such as the Xela drawstring backpack and the irresistible Fluke handbag. Just like each Vitsœ design, the family-owned Tsatsas brand’s bags are crafted with the utmost care, and are meant to age gracefully, developing an enviable patina with time. Leather-working tools from the Tsatsas workshops, as well as samples of the hides and fabrics used to produce the handmade and individually numbered bags can also be found scattered on the Vitsœ store’s shelves. You can visit this temporary exhibition now and until 23 November 2014 - possibly with an ice-cream in hand from the popular BallaBeni gelato store which is just across the street!
